Import Of Intermediate Products Impact On China's High-tech Products Exports Technology Research

Under the background of excess production capacity, domestic industrial upgrading, the government put forward the Chinese version of "Marshall plan", to develop the "area" construction, high-tech export-oriented enterprises and industry "going out" becomes a top priority for the future development of countries, high technology industry development opportunity period in history. In nearly a decade,China's foreign trade has made remarkable achievements, especially in the high-tech products trade growth is amazing. High technology industry in our country at present stage, however, mainly processing trade import and export trade, and technology content is low, seriously hindered the development of new and high technology industries. So the development of high technology industry in the future, we can't only pay attention to quantity, more should pay attention to quality.This paper first analyzes the import of intermediate products of high technology products export mechanism, the influence of the technical content is a specific,economies of scale and technology spillovers from the perspective of trade competition effect mechanism analysis, from the production of globalization, vertical specialization and Angle for investment and trade integration path mechanism analysis. Then analyzes the import of intermediate products and high-tech products export technical content of the status quo, analyzes the scale and structure of the intermediate products, at the same time adopt Hausmann(2007) model to measure the content of high technology industry export and technology of China, analyzes the high-tech industry export technical change, and carries on the comparison of horizontal and vertical. It is concluded that although China's high-tech products exports, but the technical content is lower, than there is a certain distance with the developed countries. After the use of high technology in China, 2000-2000 panel data for empirical analysis, five industries select import, global production indices of the intermediate products and the first vertical specialization index variables, such as static and dynamic panel model GMM model overall analysis was carried out on the export of high technology content, and then introduced the virtual variables, analysis of high technology import of intermediate products five industries impact on its export of technical content.Empirical results that the center of the overall product import of high-techproducts export has a significantly positive influence on technical content, at the same time, both production globalization, vertical specialization and investment and trade integration of high-tech products export has a positive influence on technical content,and the influence of vertical specialization degree is the largest. Among FDI, R&D and product import all help to promote the export of the product technology content.But for niche business of intermediate products import and export technical content are uncertain, the relationship between electronic and communication equipment and so on three kinds of products import of intermediate products promotes products export high technology content, while the remaining two categories intermediate product imports will hinder its export elevated levels of technology. Finally, on the basis of the empirical results, this paper puts forward the relevant policy recommendations.
