With the development of fiber optical communication and the demand of a larger capacity and longest distance transmission,the widely used semiconductor optical amplifier,erbium doped fiber amplifier and fiber Raman amplifier can not meet the needs of the people.However,the fiber optical parametric amplifier has an advantage in the wide bandwidth,high gain and low noise,so that it has a good application prospect,and is one of the research hotspots in recent years.This thesis mainly involves the following aspects:Firstly,the nonlinear effect of fiber optical is investigated.The principle of four-wave mixing and the coupling mode equation of light transmission between time and wave in optical fiber are introduced in detail,and the basic principle of optical fiber parametric amplification system is analyzed in detail.Then,the gain characteristic of signal is investigated with the different fiber length.The time domain shape and spectrum are investigated of pump wave,signal wave and idle wave,respectively.Secondly,the thesis derives the coupled mode equations of the six wave model fiber optical parametric amplification,which expressed by power and fiber length.And the gain characteristics and optimization are also investigated.Finally,the gain floating at 0.3dB,the gain of peak with 65 dB and the gain bandwidth with 110 nm are provided.Finally,the principle and the gain characteristics of the optical fiber parametric chirped pulse amplification which based on the single pumped structure and the double pumped structure are investigated.The impact of pump chirp rate,the time delay and pump wavelength are analyzed.Then the influence factors of signal gain with the second order dispersion and the phase mismatch are analyzed.Finally,combining with the optimization algorithm,the optimum combination of the pump wavelength,pump wave power and the fiber length of three groups of different chirp rates are obtained,and the gain amplification of high gain,wide band width and gain flatness are obtained.
