The Ka band is 26.5GHz to 40 GHz.The frequency source module is an important part of the microwave and millimeter wave electronic devices.It is commonly known as the "heart".In order to improve the speed and precision of the detection,the microwave electronic test production site has a great demand on the automatic detection platform.This paper combines the actual situation of the electronic product detection work.Based on the research of frequency source module detection technology,an automatic detection system test platform is built to ensure the quality of electronic products.This paper first introduces the key technology of the Ka frequency source module,studies the instruments used in the detection,the measuring accuracy and dynamic range of the detection instrument.The design and implementation of automated testing system testing platform is mainly studied.First,the decomposition of the performance index of the Ka frequency source module.From the point of view of design theory,the parameters can meet the requirements.The PCB board,assembly drawing and physical map of the test fixture control board are designed based on the FPGA automatic test system test platform.By testing the RS232 serial port of the fixture control board to send the energy,clock and data instructions,the frequency source digital control is realized,the output frequency and the signal level are switched,and the SDO CSB SCLK is used to send the high performance clock signal to the frequency source locked loop in accordance with the timing of SPI,and write the frequency modulation word(FTW),and then the I/O-Update position is placed.The frequency source updates the register to the mapping register,and the frequency points need to be updated.The speed of the update depends on the writing speed of the SPI sequence to the register,which is developed by the Quartus II software platform and the Verilog HDL.Second,it realizes the communication and control of microwave power meter,spectrum analyzer,signal source and vector network analyzer,and completes data acquisition of Ka frequency band output power,Bobbi,isolation,loss and other parameters.The main technologies include the SCPI command,the connection of the GPIB bus,the RS232 serial port,the TCP/IP communication protocol,and the Socket socket,and complete the communication work by setting the baud rate of the communication port.Finally,the VB language is used to create an operation frame,form a human-machine interaction interface,save and process test data,and form an automatic detection system testing platform.
