Super computing power of modern computer drives the development of particle simulation methods,making it become an emerging subject.CHIPIC3D calculating program is a high power microwave device simulation software using PIC particle simulation method.In the Windows system,many high power microwave devices have been carried on in the simulation,whose results have been a success.Because the simulation computation time in many high power microwave device is long,ordinary computer simulations may need hundreds of hours,while in the super computer system the calculation can be greatly speeded up.So many research institutions prefer the super computer systems for the simulation calculation of high power microwave devices.Nowadays,the majority of the recent supercomputer system use the Linux operating system,which makes CHIPIC3 D calculation procedure of the Linux version become necessary.CHIPIC3 D calculation software has to use a written text to model,therefore,users who are not very familiar with this software may face a challenge.for the convenience of using CHIPIC3 D calculation procedures for users,a user-friendly interface program design for the computing program also becomes necessary.Based on the reasons above,the topic of this paper is "design and research of 3d model platform based on Linux system".The main contents of the design:(1)Qorting the Windows version of CHIPIC3 D computing program to the Linux system,and developing the Linux version of CHIPIC3 D computing program.(2)Design an interface software that facilitates 3d modeling for Linux version simulation program in Linux system.(3)Add graphics output function to the 3d model platform.This paper describes the design and research of the task in six chapters.In the first chapter,I discuss the significance of the research and its development at home and abroad,and list the specific implementation of this project.In chapter 2,I will focus on the four software tools required for the project design(which are the Qt toolkit for Linux,the OpenGL graphics package,the Intel Fortran compiler and code::blocks toolkit).In the third chapter I analyze the demand of this project design,and explicit a few parts of interface software in this project.I In this chapter these parts are analyzed respectively in details as the frame structure for project design.In the fourth part of thispaper,the compilation process of CHIPIC3 D calculation program under Linux system is illustrated.ofThen the main functions in the design of the interface software are introduced.The technical difficulties encountered in the design process are illustrated.Chapter five is focusing on testing the design results of task.This paper is summarized in the last chapter.
