With the development of modern war and emergence of stealth fighter and AWACS or other high-tech equipment,the battlefield of electronic and magnetic environment is becoming more and more complex.This is a challenge that cannot be overlooked in the improvement of missile precision guidance technology performance.Compared to the phased-array radar,the MIMO radar have stronger anti-interference ability,better detection of low,small,slow targets,and higher resolution.As a consequence,using MIMO radar technology to improve performance of seeker’s precise-guidance has become an important research direction.Based on the missile-borne MIMO radar platform,this paper establishes the array model at the sub-array level.It introduces main signal process flow and gives the angle measurement algorithm under clutter background.Then this paper analyses the adaptive processing algorithms with reduced-order.The main contents are as follows:1,For MIMO missile-borne radar,this paper gives the transmitted and the received signal model at sub-array level.Then it gives the signal model in irregular sub-array.It respectively gives the none-adaptive and adaptive signal process flow and analyses the influence of grating lobe with comprehensive beam forming figure in MIMO missile-borne radar at sub-array level.2,This paper introduces basic principles of reduced-dimensional STAP algorithm in MIMO missile-borne radar at sub-array level and compares the result with that in phased-array radar.It analyses the effects of high side-lobe or grating lobe to the reduced-dimensional STAP algorithm at sub-array level.Under irregular sub-array level circumstance,it gives the phase-center-compensation algorithm to make sure the STAP algorithm working well.3,By simulation,it shows the divided-target problem because of doppler-distance coupling characteristic in SFDLFM signal,also this paper gives the corresponding compensation algorithm in the meantime.4,This paper gives the clutter model in MIMO missile-borne radar.Then it deduces the sum-difference beam angle measurement algorithm with monopulse.Focusing on the clutter of real environment,it gives the space-time adaptive sum-difference beam angle measurement algorithm to deal with the problem that the performance of the regular sum-difference beam angle measurement algorithm decreased under real clutter circumstance.Because of the huge computation in total space-time adaptive sum-difference beam angle measurement algorithm,this paper uses JDL and 3DT adaptive reduced-dimensional sum-difference beam angle measurement algorithm.For different application scenarios,3DT dimension reduction and difference beam angle measurement algorithms are used for simulation,and their angle measurement results are compared and analyzed.
