The analysis of the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of vegetation has always been an important part of the microwave remote sensing field,and it has important values for civil and military fields.The research content of this paper is mainly reflected in the establishment of electromagnetic scattering model of vegetation and the research of new backscattering solution method.The main work is as follows:1.Based on the linear model formula of two-phase mixture,the calculation method of the equivalent permittivity of the vegetation is introduced,and a planar layered vegetation equivalent model is proposed.The model has a simple structure,good universality,and easy access to model parameters.2.Plane layered models were applied to wheat field vegetation and rice vegetation respectively.Two-layer or tri-layer equivalent models of wheat and rice field were established,and the method of physical optics is used to solve the scattering characteristics of the equivalent model.Firstly,the backscattering characteristics of wheat vegetation with different angles of incidence at three different growth stages were analyzed.Then,the variation of the rice vegetation backscattering coefficient with growth days was calculated,and all the calculation results were compared with the experimental data of related literatures.3?Based on the theory of physical optics,a new rough surface backscattering calculation method based on phase disturbance and polarization reverse is proposed.The theoretical principle of this method and the solution steps using this method have been discussed.Taking a simple plane wave irradiation as an example,the theoretical derivation process of this method is shown,and the corresponding calculation program is written.Finally,this method is applied to a specific example and compared with the calculation results of other methods to verify the reliability of this method.
