At present,with the growing popularity of mobile Internet and terminals in the contemporary society,the demand for location-based services(Location-Based Service,LBS)extends from the outside to the interior.The indoor positioning method based on WLAN technology has become the research hotspot in the field of indoor positioning technology because of its high positioning accuracy and suitable for commercial promotion.However,the traditional research workload is large and tedious,so it is not the best way to do the research on the multi scene data.In addition,the positioning accuracy of the current indoor positioning algorithm can not meet the needs of the actual positioning,therefore,the problem of positioning accuracy is not high enough to be solved.Therefore,in view of the above mentioned problems in the research of indoor positioning technology,an indoor simulation model based on ray tracking technology was presented.By using the ray tracing method in the simulation tool,the generation and acquisition of the signal fingerprint,and then the location fingerprint database is established by simulation;And the thesis improved indoor positioning algorithm based on improved nearest neighbor,the improved idea is to select the distance threshold to filter the traditional nearest neighbor set,so as to effectively improve the positioning accuracy.The main contents are as follows:1.Comparative of the advantages and disadvantages of the indoor positioning system,the research emphasis of WLAN indoor positioning technology is determined,and the positioning process,principle and common algorithms are introduced and analyzed,the positioning algorithm and the performance evaluation index of the system are summarized in the end.2.Thesis on how to use the ray tracing technique to simulate data was studied,and through MATLAB simulation software to achieve the generation of different mesh density database,finally,the reliability of the simulation based on ray tracing is verified by the nearest neighbor algorithm.3.In this thesis,the performance of the nearest neighbor algorithm is analyzed,and the improved nearest neighbor algorithm is proposed,and the steps of the positioning principle and process were introduced,finally,the performance of the improved algorithm is verified by the experiment of the nearest neighbor algorithm,the K nearest neighbor algorithm and the improved algorithm.Through the comprehensive analysis of the experimental results,it is shown that the feasibility of using ray tracing technique to simulate the signal.The improved algorithm proposed in this thesis can effectively improve the accuracy and stability of positioning.
