With the continuous development of cluster systems, the private network communication has been developed from the traditional analog type to digital type.Due to the emergence of high-speed and diversified cluster services, the digital narrowband cluster system cannot meet the needs of current and future private network users. Thus, the system needs to be further developed from digital narrowband to broadband, using broadband access technologies to provide a strong transmission capacity for multimedia services. However, the broadbandization of the private network can not be achieved overnight due to a variety of realistic factors. It also needs long-term and phased evolution. In order to effectively utilize the ability of the two networks and make them work together, the integration of broadband and narrowband networks is imperative. The main contents and contributions of this thesis are in following aspects:Firstly, this thesis studies architecture of broadband and narrowband converged network corresponding proposes a converged network architecture based on the generic link layer by making the comparison of the heterogeneity between the broadband network and the narrowband network. Then, this thesis proposes an architecture for multi-user multiplexing and group partitioning algorithm to solve the mismatch between the resource scheduling mechanism of broadband technology and narrowband voice data. The simulation shows that the proposed method enhances the resource utilization and system capacity of broadband access technology for narrowband voice transmission.Secondly, this thesis studies the data splitting strategy of parallel transmission in multiaccess scenarios of wide and narrowband converged network. The lower bound of the delay of heterogeneous network concurrency is analyzed by queuing theory. The performance analysis of the fixed proportion data splitting strategy is carried out,and the linear programming model of fixed proportion strategy with the total delay as the target is also established. Then, this thesis proposes a cache-based dynamic data splitting strategy to solve that fixed proportion strategy cannot take into account the real-time network status.By comparing the average delay and blocking performance of the two splitting strategies in simulation result,it is found that the proposed dynamic splitting strategy is a kind of divergence strategy suitable for the broadband and narrowband converged network in certain conditions.Thirdly, this thesis studies the multi-user and multi-access joint resource allocation in wide and narrowband converged networks. The joint allocation of bandwidth and power is modeled as a nonlinear optimization problem with the maximum throughput of the system as the target.Besides,we introduce the priority mechanism of the private network in order to control the transmission rate obtained by each user.Through the simulation results, the proposed resource allocation algorithm obtains the maximum system capacity under the premise of satisfying the user priority to the user rate guarantee. It shows that the allocation algorithm is a suitable strategy for the broadband and narrowband converged network.Lastly, this thesis reviews and summarizes all the research contents, and explains the existing problems in the current research.Outlook for research on broadband and narrowband converged network is also gave.
