The problem of heroin addiction is a great hidden danger of physical and mental health and social stability in modern society. The treatment process is divided into three steps: early diagnosis, detoxification and rehabilitation. But this is mainly based on medical appraisal and the experience of medical personnel, which has certain limitations and subjectivity for different patients.Based on this, this paper applies the method of signal synchronization and source localization analysis to the heroin addicts for the first time, and compares the resting state of the heroin addicts with those of the normal population.Resting state EEG is the baseline state of the brain. It can remarkably reflect the basic mechanism of neural activity.Different cognitive processing processes can be examined by the synchronization value of EEG in different frequency bands. The source localization is widely used in cognitive neuroscience because of its high accuracy and small error. In this paper, taking the synchronization analysis and source localization analysis as the research method, taking the resting state EEG as the research object,we not only found the objective diagnostic criteria of heroin addiction based on EEG,but also provided a theoretical basis for the evaluation of the rehabilitation effect in each treatment process. The specific work of this article is as follows:(1)synchronization analysis of EEG signal: by calculating the synchronization values of each selected electrode on the delta, theta, alpha, beta, and gamma bands, this article found that: a)the results of coherence analysis, sorting mutual information and synchronization likelihood basically showed that the synchronization values between the frontal and parietal lobes of heroin addiction group was lower than that of the normal control group, and the difference was significant at the alpha frequency band;b)the synchronization of delta band in the abstinence group was decreased, and the synchronization values of the alpha band all showed an upward trend, and it showed a significantly normal trend in the part of the electrode and the difference between the abstinence group and the control group became smaller.(2)EEG source localization analysis: all electrodes in the addiction group and the control group, the addiction group and the abstinence group were solved by sLORETA respectively. The results showed that a)there were significant differences in the alpha frequency band between the addiction group and the control group. The main brain areas involved the posterior central gyrus, the superior parietal lobule and the pre-central gyrus, the cuneus, and the cingulate gyrus;b)it was found that the connection between the medial frontal gyrus band and the right inferior lobule of the alpha in the addiction group was significantly abnormal in the normal group by the analysis of the region of interest;c)compared with the addiction group, the activity of the delta band in the abstinence group decreased in the anterior cingulate gyrus, and the medial frontal gyrus of the theta band was similar. The beta band and the gamma band were also decreased in the superior temporal gyrus and middle temporal gyrus of the temporal region, and the neuronal activity of the alpha band in the inferior parietal lobule was enhanced. In this article: firstly, the EEG data of heroin addicts were collected and analyzed, and the abnormal brain area of the addiction group was explored, which provided an objective new way for the early diagnosis of heroin addiction.Secondly, the abstinence time was taken as the longitudinal study axis, and the effect of withdrawal time on heroin addicts was analyzed, and the evaluation of the rehabilitation effect is more accurate in the treatment process.Thirdly, this article analyzed the EEG data from different perspectives, not only found the difference between the addictive population and the normal population from the cortical EEG data, but also found the abnormal brain area and the abnormal connection of the addiction group in neuroimaging.
