With the rapid development of intelligent hardware,internet of things is emerging both at home and abroad like bamboo shoots after a spring rain,Meanwhile,smartphones bring in faster processors and bigger internal memory as well as more humanized operating system.We urgently wish that the smartphone could be a tool used for the communication with others,combine with the traditional hardware,check the hardware and control the operating state of hardware.Based on the Internet platform,client-side smartphone and the Internet-connecting smart module,this research proposed a plan for the system of remote control of smart air conditioner.The application of “Ayla Cloud + traditional air conditioners” allows the combination of air conditioners and cloud,achieves the real-time remote and local monitoring of air conditioners and the appointment making.At first,this paper analyzed the weaknesses and room for improvement and perfection in combination with domestic and foreign researches concerning the air-conditioners remote control system.It analyzed the requirements for the functions of air-conditioner remote control system,proposed the functions required by the system,designed the overall plan,and determined that the system should be comprised of four parts(i.e.Ayla module,main control panel,APP on the mobile phone and cloud platform).Besides,Ayla module serves as the data transmission between air conditioner,cloud platform and APP.The communication protocols used between Ayla module and main control panel,between Ayla module and APP on the mobile phone or the cloud platform,between APP and cloud platform were designed thoroughly.As for Ayla module,namely the most important hardware in this system,its components were introduced and the software was designed.For the mobile client which's closely linked with the clients,the MVC framework was adopted.The singleton and proxy design patterns were utilized.The functional design for the various components were described in detail,including animation at the APP surface,format of data transmission,network communication,and the storage at the database.At last,the complete set of system was tested.The collection and analysis of data from mobile client,cloud and air conditioner confirmed that the APP at the smartphone could conveniently and easily check and control the starting up and closing down of air conditioners,the temperature,wind speed,wind direction,operating modes and appointment under the local and remote network.Meanwhile,the surface of APP runs smoothly and has good time efficiency.This system has been successfully applied in a famous air-conditioner manufacturer in China and achieve its practical values.As well as providing the customers with comfortable experience,this system has its substantial economic and social benefits in terms of safety and energy conservation.It also complies with China's strategy of sustainable development.
