Direction of Arrival(DOA)estimate is one of the most important research fields in array signal processing and it could be applied in many areas.Classical DOA estimate algorithms always base on the properties of subspace to estimate the positions of the signal sources.They have many limitations such as low resolving ability,low accuracy under low SNR circumstance.However,the development of Compressed Sensing algorithm(CS)in recent years provides researchers a new method to solve DOA problems and to remedy the limitation of classical algorithms.At first,this thesis introduces the background and the theoretical principle of the classical subspace algorithm,MUSIC algorithm,and the compressed sensing(CS)theory.Introducing the CS theory from the sparse of signal,the chose of observation matrix and the recovery of the signal.Then this paper analyses the model of the DOA compressed sensing algorithm and verifies the validity of the Sparse Recovery algorithm in DOA estimate problem by the computer simulation.Concluding Sparse Recovery algorithm's properties and advantages by comparing it with classical DOA estimate algorithm(MUSIC algorithm).Then,choosing TMS320C6746 DSP chip as the core of the hardware in order to achieve the requirement and the function of the CS algorithm.This paper introduces the module that would be used and initiates the device.Analyzing the key code of the program and transferring CS algorithm to the TMS320C6746 DSP chip in order to achieve its engineering value.Proving its validity and feasibility by comparing its result and the simulation result.At last,concluding this project and prospect it.
