PID Controller is one of the most common methods in industrial production control,which has the characteristics of simple principle and structure,strong adaptability and robustness,and easy to realize.The PID controller's three parameter tuning determines whether the system is efficient and reliable,and determines the PID control quality.Now industrial demand faces non-linear,high dimension and complex control process,used for manual tuning,efficiency and control effect is poor.With the development of intelligent algorithm,the PID parameter tuning based on bacteria foraging algorithm can be set up efficiently by using the algorithm.Bacterial foraging algorithm is a new intelligent algorithm to simulate the foraging behavior of Escherichia coli,in order to improve the optimization performance of the algorithm,combining the bacteria foraging algorithm and particle swarm optimization algorithm,and introducing the bacteria foraging algorithm into the PID controller parameter tuning,the main research work is as follows:1)the background,significance and current situation of the parameter tuning and bacterial foraging algorithm are Introduces,and the principles and characteristics of several classical algorithms are analyzes.2)The PID control principle and parameter tuning method are introduced,the biological principle,basic operating principle and algorithm flow of the standard bacteria foraging algorithm are described,the influence of the parameters on the algorithm and the selection of parameters are discussed.3)To improve the convergence speed and precision of the standard bacterial foraging algorithm and reduce the probability of falling into local optimum.The standard bacteria foraging algorithm,improved bacterial foraging algorithm,particle swarm algorithm and genetic algorithm were used to test the classical test function,and the results were compared to verify the effectiveness of the improved algorithm.4)The improved bacterial foraging algorithm is applied to PID parameter tuning,and the simulation experiment is carried out through four typical controlled objects,which can be used to illustrate the feasibility of improving the parameter tuning of the bacterial foraging algorithm,and this method improves the system performance.Finally,the simulation model of the steam boiler temperature control system is established,and the improved bacterial foraging algorithm is effective and practical for adjusting the temperature parameters.
