As the third generation of rare earth permanent magnet materials,NdFeB has the advantages of excellent magnetic properties and relatively low prices.In recent years,it has been widely used in energy,transportation,machinery,medical,IT,home appliances and other fields,and has become the basis of many high-tech industry.With the increasing demand for magnetic materials,and due to the complex process of magnetic materials,many types of defects are unavoidably produced in the production process.Therefore,the quality inspection of magnetic materials is also very important.The traditional manual detection method is not sufficient to meet production requirements due to labor intensity and low detection efficiency.Therefore,automated detection of magnetic materials has become a hot topic of research.The small-scale magnetic material high-speed optical detection system in this paper is an automated detection system integrating optical,machinery,electrical,software and algorithm.In this thesis,hardware selection and system design are firstly done according to the size defects and appearance defects of magnetic materials and detection requirements,and completed the test platform hardware system.Including optical systems,image acquisition systems,PLC control systems,loading and sorting systems.Secondly,this thesis uses the Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 development tool based on the Windows platform to use C++ language to combine QT and OpenCV to complete the development of the system software.The system software mainly includes human-computer interaction interface,detection module,system control module and system acceleration module.Then this thesis introduced the algorithm of magnetic material defect detection,divided into two aspects: magnetic material image preprocessing and magnetic material defect detection.In the image preprocessing section,this thesis introduces several basic image preprocessing methods,and selects the suitable methods for the system according to the characteristics of the magnetic materials.In the following,in this thesis we study the angle detection algorithm for magnetic materials with special shape,and discuss two methods for detecting the angle missing of the heteromorphic magnetic materials.One is to introduce an inner ring angle detection algorithm for magnetic materials with inner ring opening,and the other is to introduce a kind of arc edge to the magnetic material of the special-shaped detection algorithm for missing angle of magnetic materials with linear edges.Finally,this thesis analyzes the results of the detection of each defect in the size and appearance of magnetic materials.In this system,the detection error rate for each defect of magnetic material size and appearance is less than 1%,the missed detection rate is less than 3%,the defect detection algorithm processing time is 40 ms,and 380 magnetic material workpieces can be detected per minute.It shows that the magnetic material detection method described in this paper can be applied in actual production.
