| Optical image encryption technology is widely used in the area of information security due to its low cost,high speed and the capability of parallel processing.Light has various properties,such as wavelength,amplitude,phase and polarization.Therefore,it can be used as a kind of multidimensional information carrier.Optical image encryption technology provides multiple key degrees of freedom and great privacy for data security.Besides,human beings have their own biological characteristics,such as fingerprints,irises,faces,voices,etc.So using biological characteristics for optical encryption can greatly improve the safety of the information transmission.In this paper,the present development of optical image encryption technology has been made an investigation.From the security point of view,a method of combining biometric keys with optical image encryption technology has been proposed.Through the use of human biometric keys,the security and complexity of information encryption are greatly improved,which provide a reference for new optical encryption technologies.The main work of this paper includes:1.Basic principles of optical scanning holography and its optical implementation are introduced.The optical transfer function has been analyzed in detail.Numerical simulations of Fresnel wave plates which are the scanned patterns of objects and optical scanning holography have been carried out.2.In the view of the security problems,this paper proposes an optical image encryption method by using biometric keys.The optical implementation of gyrator transform is introduced and the encryption theory has been discussed in the paper.The key sensitivity and the ability against potential attacks have been analyzed.3.In the view of the security problems,this paper proposes an optical encryption method based on biometric key array and optical scanning holography.Basicprinciples have been discussed in the paper.The key sensitivity and the ability against potential attacks have been analyzed.4.In the view of encrypting 3D objects,this paper proposes an optical encryption method based on biometric key for 3D objects.Basic principles have been discussed in the paper.In encryption process,a 3D object is converted into multiple 2D targets by performing a vertical slice operation.The whole process of encryption and decryption has been simulated. |
