With the development of the information society,and then the further requirement of military and national defense towards the space field,the establishment of a space-ground integrated network supporting global communication has become one of the hot topics.The architecture of space-based satellite backbone network is the key and difficult point of the space-ground integrated network construction.Optical interconnection technology has the advantages of high transmission rate,high reliability,strong security,small volume and light weight nature of terminal equipment,low power consumption and so on.Especially,the optical switching can overcome the bottleneck of capacity within the legacy packet switching,leading to substantial savings in cost,improvement of network's reliability and flexibility.Therefore,the optically interconnection based space-ground integrated network has attracted worldwide attention.In order to adapt the requirement of the large capacity,high data rate and the burst feature of services probably in satellite backbone network,optical burst switching technology has become an emerging recommendation.Optical burst switching(OBS)is introduced in this paper to interconnected the space-based backbone network,because that comparing with optical packet switching,optical burst switching(OBS)is a kind of technology with high maturity and is much easy to be controlled.Besides,its control/data plane can be usually designed separately.As a consequence,Not only the network architecture and its operation mechanism has been designed,but also based on the separated and centralized control plane,the resource scheduling strategy with much focusing of space-based backbone network have been proposed.Specifically,the contributions of this thesis can be summarized as following:Firstly,the network architecture of the space-based backbone network based on OBS is designed,including the design of the data plane,the control plane and the network operation mechanism.Secondly,the resource scheduling mechanism of the OBS based space backbone network is designed,including the design of the LEO-side resource scheduling mechanism and the GEO ring network internal resource scheduling mechanism.In addition,the corresponding bandwidth allocation algorithm is designed.Finally,in order to evaluated the network architecture and the resource scheduling mechanism,an OPNET based simulation platform for space-based backbone network via OBS is built.The resource scheduling mechanism and algorithm are modeled in it,and the performance of the system is simulated through it.The simulation verifies the feasibility of resource scheduling mechanism designed in this paper,and the advantages of the novel designed bandwidth allocation algorithm compared with the fixed bandwidth allocation algorithm.
