In the development of routing protocols in space information networks,large-scale emulation and experimental verification are urgently needed.If we conduct the research in a real space network system,testing software needs to be pre-loaded into satellite communication systems,and then launches the test satellites into space.This approach will not only have a long cycle and high cost,but also may affect existing satellite network systems.It is also not possible to perform a large-scale emulation.On the other hand,if we use software simulations such as OPNET,NS,etc.,although simple and easy,all software modules are not run in the real network system and not any actual data flow is generated,which makes the simulation results inaccurate.This paper focuses on the issues related to the emulation of routing protocols in space information networks.We designed a lab-level credible and flexible routing em-ulation solution,which includes the following aspects:First,the routing emulation scheme must have authenticity.Only a realistic and reliable emulation can produce convincing results.Secondly,the emulation scheme needs to consider the special net-work environments,including the dynamic topology,special link error rate and delay,and to provide flexible and reconfigurable emulations.Finally,in order to carry out multi-scenario,multi-protocol routing emulation,the emulation scheme needs to be simple and easy in deployment and upgrade for large-scale nodes.For this purpose,we propose a routing emulation scheme based on SDN(Software Defined Network).It uses the SDN switch to control the network topology.The SDN controller will send flow table to SDN switch according to the predictable contact graph.It can also emulate the link flash in space networks.We use Docker nodes for co-emulation with the real nodes in space scenario.It alos supports large-scale emulation.With all spacialized images for different scenes and routing protocols,the emulation can be quickly deployed and switched.
