In recent years,with the rise of cloud computing and big data,the increasing amount of users and growing data volume have posed big challenges in data center network.In order to meet the growing business needs in the data center and provide data center access service with high bandwidth,easy extensible and low energy consumption,researchers have proposed and designed many all-optical switching network architectures suitable for cloud services.However,due to the port count limitation of optical switch,it is not cost effective to set up full-mesh connections among all server racks in reality.Therefore,optical path reconfiguration mechanism is introduced to adapt to different business requirements.Frequent optical path reconstruction will break the TCP connection,resulting in the loss of data packets,and then increase the transmission delay,reduce the network throughput,and ultimately affect the transmission performance of the business.In the current research,few researchers have studied the impact of frequent refactoring on transmission performance and proposed corresponding improvement mechanisms.In order to reduce the impact caused by frequent optical path reconfiguration,a cross layer transmission control mechanism based on SDN is proposed in this paper.This mechanism optimized the parameter of the time-delay retransmission mechanism and the delay confirmation mechanism of the traditional TCP protocol.Besides,according to the flow division module on sender,the window adjustment module based on improved greedy algorithm,and the flow migration module with dynamic routing configuration,this mechanism can better fit the optical interaction data center with dynamical topology.Then,based on the PCIe network interface card we established a lOGb/s all-optical switching network platform.We make experiment under the topology reconfiguration scenario and analyze the transmission performance.The experiment result shows that this mechanism can effectively reduce the transmission delay caused by topology reconfiguration and have better transmission performance.Finally,we put forward the ideas of further improvement and optimization for the proposed transmission control mechanism.
