With the rapid development of the mobile Internet and the Internet of Things and the continuous emergence of various new services, mobile data traffic ushered in an explosive growth.Taking into account the above factors,3GPP organization put forward the standardization research on 5G.In order to achieve the transmission rate increase of tens to hundreds times on the basis of 4G,the related technologies under the millimeter wave communication become a research hot spot. The research work in this paper mainly includes modeling of millimeter wave channel, scheme of Massive-MIMO transmission based on the codebook-based hybrid beamforming architecture and performance evaluation of Turbo-CWIC receiver in system level. The main contributions and innovations are as follows:Modeling of millimeter-wave channels using large-scale antenna array technology to follow the first and second stages of the 3GPP 5G NR calibration, simulating the impact of some parameters on base station coverage performance and providing guidance and advice to test of 5G.Specifically,we modeled the channel-system level in 5G UMa and UMi scenarios according to the 3GPP related channel model protocol, and evaluated the user signal-to-noise ratio and system throughput under the corresponding simulation assumptions and worked with other 3GPP organization members in calibration work.We modeled the 5G NR codebook, and proposed antenna panel based multi-user transmission scheme and space-based multi-user scheme under hybrid beamforming. The performance of the above two schemes at different station distances in 5G UMa scenarios and UMi scenarios was evaluated.Simulation results show that MU-MIMO has promising gain relative to SU-MIMO and 5G UMa scenarios with 200m intercell station distance and 5G UMi scenarios with 100m intercell station distance are possible options in future network deployment. However, the performance of edge users is very poor or even interrupted.Cell coverage and handover are needed to be solved in the future when high and low frequency network are deployed togetherThe performance of Turbo-CWIC receiver in Massive-MIMO system is evaluated.By deploying the Turbo-CWIC receiver at the receiver and combining the transmitter and receiver to coordinate interference,we can eliminate inter-stream interference during multi-user transmission and inter-cell interference with the assistance of network-side information.
