Underwater acoustic communication technology has been developed rapidly in recent years and has been widely studied.There are many obvious differences between underwater acoustic channels and wireless telecommunication props.The acoustic signal propagation in the ocean,influenced by the factors such as channel water temperature,depth of salt,acoustic propagation characteristics,multipath characteristics and Doppler characteristics,time-varying and null changes lead to very complex and complex characteristics of underwater acoustic communication channels.Underwater acoustic channel is one of the most important research fields in underwater acoustic communication.In this paper,the underwater acoustic communication channel simulator based on acoustic classical theory,the mathematical model,physical model and computer aided design software of complex parameters into the computer software module in the underwater acoustic channel;establishment of multipath propagation model,Doppler frequency shift model of time-varying underwater acoustic channel model;realize the characteristics of underwater acoustic environment analysis and simulation,the classical water acoustic propagation simulation function,establish a practical model of the underwater communication channel.This paper first introduces the acoustic modeling theory,analyses the characteristics of multipath and Doppler in the underwater acoustic channel;the overall design of underwater acoustic communication channel simulator,with computer and sound card for basic hardware,software module design,data flow interface design and code design,implemented in LabVIEW software;software module mainly includes the way of simulation,Doppler simulation,noise simulation,integrated simulation and virtual signal source 5 software modules.Finally,the performance test in the laboratory,with the help of MATLAB according to the signal multipath wave simulation,Doppler simulation,add the specified signal-to-noise ratio,noise simulation and comprehensive simulation including the above three kinds of simulation results for performance testing.This channel simulator can achieve the output signal to noise ratio,which can be arbitrarily set at-20dB~+30dB,the maximum number of multipath 15,analog Doppler 0-60 section performance index,which can provide a practical channel model for underwater acoustic communication technology research.
