In recent 10 years,hospital information system has developed rapidly.The implementation of DICOM standard greatly promoted the network management of medical imaging equipment and network integration of image data.HL7 standard was also widely used to promote the patient's electronic cases as well as medical care and clinical test data.But the ICU data application and share was still limited by the backward of the monitor data information integration.Medical bedside monitor is a kind of important medical equipment which is used to monitor the patient's real-time physiological indicators and it has the characteristics of a wide distribution,a large number,variety,mobility,replacement,but it does not have an unified data transfer protocol and its data can not be shared.Combined with intellectual property and other reasons,the monitoring data information of medical care system can not be integrated into the hospital information system,which results in the patient's daily physiological parameters to be an information island.A standardized system integrated solution of medical monitoring data was designed in this paper to change the above situation of medical monitoring equipment,and provide more extensive clinical monitoring data for medical research.Firstly,real-time display images were obtained by video encoders,and character recognition algorithm based on support vector machine was carried out on the image-specific display area to extract the patient's physiological parameters.After that,the monitor information in accordance with the standard HL7 interface protocol was packaged and transferred to the server.Then a reliable server hardware and server software cluster environment were built,including an interface server based on I/O Completion Port(IOCP)technology,a database server based on SQL Server2012 and a web server providing web data service based on Web Service technology.Finally,a user interface scheme based on B/S architecture was designed for user interaction,as well as data share between other parts of hospital information system with monitoring data system.In order to verify the technical feasibility of the designed solution,the image information of the monitoring equipment was collected with the cost-effective raspberry-pi embedded system and the Hikvision multi-channel video capture device.The self-designed recognition algorithm was also operated on raspberry-pi embedded system to obtain monitor the information in real time.And the encapsulated HL7 data packet was transmitted to the data center platform which was composed of 7 servers.On the central data platform,a prototype of HIS system from a famous top hospital was deployed,including all the basic databases except the patient private data.Expanded table and stored procedure were designed for the lack of monitoring data.A web-based display solution of monitoring data was also built by the network service framework which was recommended by HL7 standard.Through the practice of preliminary verification,the software has identified stable operation,excellent performance and system integrity.All of the works validated the feasibility of the key technologies of this subject for monitoring system integration and standardization.
