Design And Implementation Of Echo Cancellation In Broadband Communication System

Echo cancellation is one of the issues that need to be paid attention to in the design of communication system.The isolation of the system is not only needed to consider the physical isolation of the receiving and transmitting antennas,but also requires the algorithm to eliminate the echo in the digital signal processing part.Digital signal processing has developed rapidly in recent years,which makes the echo cancellation algorithm based on FPGA,DSP and other platforms gradually replace the traditional method of physical isolation.With the development of communication technology,the communication bandwidth is more and more big,the echo cancellation technology to face the impact factor is also increased,the existing echo cancellation scheme has been unable to fully meet the demand.This paper mainly introduces the design and implementation of the echo cancellation scheme of broadband communication system.Firstly,the paper introduces and researches the common echo cancellation adaptive algorithm in broadband communication system,and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of each algorithm.The computational efficiency and convergence rate of various algorithms are considered,and the principle of LMS algorithm based on FPGA is described briefly and Matlab simulation is done.Secondly,the FPGA platform is used to realize the specific scheme of the echo cancellation of the broadband communication system.The principle and interface of each module are introduced in detail,and the verilog code is used to realize it.The key issues to be solved in zero IF reception are highlighted,including DC offset cancellation,flatness correction and IQ unbalance correction in zero-IF design of broadband communication system.Finally,through the system debugging of the laboratory platform,the performance of the echo cancellation scheme design of the broadband communication system is analyzed,and the feasibility of the scheme design is verified.
