Research On File Security Transfer Technology Based On SMB Protocol

Along with continuous development of network communication and resource sharing technology,it is widely investigated about protocol and mechanism on network data sharing.Specially,security problem in process of network file transfer is more concerned.Amongst,as a LAN file transfer protocol,SMB(Server Message Block)is always used as a platform in research of security transfer of network shared files.However,to date,in the SMB protocol,the control of security file transfer is still using way of client authorization,where the right to acquire a file is through sending password from client to server.Under serious attack on the SMB protocol in network,where program can hijack the password to illegal obtain right of file acquiring,and make file transfer in LAN unsafe.Under such circumstance,in this paper,technology of security file transfer on SMB protocol is detailed analyzed and investigated.Through reading of many documents,format of SMB protocol,method of file sharing and process of file transfer are summarized.Then,one strategy about how to resolve SMB security problem is proposed.The idea of this strategy is adopting double encryption mechanism in file transfer on SMB protocol,and simultaneously improving file encryption algorithm.These measures can prohibit hijack in process of file transfer,and enhance safety of LAN sharing files.A file transfer system on SMB protocol is realized under Visual C++,where module programming is adopted.Firstly,general design of system transfer model is completed.Then,interactive module of file sharing on SMB,module of file encryption and decryption,driving module of file filter are detailed analyzed and built up.Meanwhile,process of runtime communication among modules is designed.Finally,in Windows platform,the transfer system is tested with normal client software and real instance.The result shows the security of file transfer is indeed enhanced.
