The Global Positioning System(GPS)location information acquisition in the open outdoor environment can provide various of accuracy requirements.In the indoor environment,accurate grasp of the indoor location information has become more and more strong.However,the existing basic outdoor positioning technology cannot be applied in indoor environment.The Inertial Navigation system(INS),began at the beginning of the last century,is the development of an advanced high precision autonomous navigation system,the carrier itself in the state vector can complete navigation tasks.With a wide range of smartphones with inertial sensors in daily life,indoor positioning technology based on smartphones has been widely studied on.This paper focuses on the research of indoor positioning technology based on inertial sensors on the smartphone.This project is from the National 863 Project(2012AA120802).The subject make the use of fingerprint feature location to achieve a good indoor positioning precision in indoor environment,and it can be combined with other characteristics of positioning technology.This paper first introduces the current situation and development of indoor positioning technology,giving a comprehensive analysis of the conditions of the indoor environment,which can be used in indoor positioning.In this paper,inertial sensors based on the Android smartphone would be used to an independent indoor positioning process with an initial position and direction.This process includes two parts,getting data and map seeing.In the first part,I made an Android program to make use of inertial sensors,inertial sensors could get the inertial data of smartphone time by time.Then I analyzed the getting data to test whether the factors of environment and inertial sensors would make sense to the whole process.Then make the process to estimate the number of walking and the length of every step success.In the second part,I made a success in positioning at smartphone and map-seeing at notebook computer.In the process of positioning PDR would be taken in this paper to transfer inertial data to position data.However,inertial sensors have a limited ability of calculation,so we make a LAN with the smartphone,wireless router,and a notebook computer.I make receiving process at notebook computer,so the inertial data could be sent to computer time bytime,by wireless router,then,make a further data processing at notebook to get more accurate positioning.
