machine vision technology is an important branch of computer science,which is a combination of optical,mechanical,electronic computer hardware and software and so on aspects of technology,relates to computer science,image processing,pattern recognition,artificial intelligence,signal processing,opto-mechatronics technology and so on field.With the rapid development of digital image sensor,image processing and pattern recognition technology,machine vision technology has been widely used in science and technology,national defense,aerospace,medical and health and various fields of national economy.LED is a semiconductor optoelectronic industry,LED products with energy saving,environmental protection,pollution-free,sustainable development and other characteristics,is a national vigorously support industries.After encapsulating,the qualified appearance of the LED lamp is an important indicator of the quality of the finished product.LED lamp is small but the output is huge,currently use manual method to detect the appearance quality detection.The detection put in more inspectors with large labor intensity.The misjudgment due to quality inspector's fatigue or visual disparity can hardly be avoided.This paper put forward the inspection system of LED lamp appearance,which is based on the domestic and foreign development and application of machine vision detection,combined with the domestic demand for LED lamp appearance.The main modules of the system include:master control module,image acquisition and processing module,motion control module.For the function that the system will achieve,using the motion control platform transmit the being tested lamp to the image acquisition platform to capture image,the image acquisition and processing module will processing and analysis the image,rapid distinguish qualified and unqualified LED lamps by mode matching and recognition algorithm.Then the sorting mechanism separated according.The statics of the system actual application results shows that the LED lamp detection system based on machine vision can achieve rapid and accurate detection of LED lamp appearance and sorting,reduced the error rate,improve production efficiency,reduce production cost,which has good practical value.
