Underwater acoustic communication as the only means of long-distance underwater communication,has became today's hot research area of marine communication.With the increasing demand of energy and the decreasing of the land resources,more and more people begin to focus on the development and utilization of marine resources.Compared to the land,the ocean area is twice,and with more energy.But,the development and utilization of marine resources is more difficult.One of the important difficulties is the underwater communication.Underwater communication,are playing an indispensable role both in resource exploration and in military affairs.However,use underwater acoustic communication in the time-varying,multipath marine environment,is more difficult than which take on land.In this paper,constructed the OFDM acoustic communication system and equalization technique which have excellent performance in marine environment.Using a approach by combination of equalization technology and OFDM technology,can greatly improve the quality of underwater acoustic communication system.Due to the complex characteristics of the underwater acoustic channel matrix,the corresponding system equalization algorithm is also very complicated.In this paper,an equalization algorithm optimization method is proposed,which can simplifies the channel matrix and equalization algorithm to achieve the purpose of reducing system time consumption.This paper first analyzes the principle which correlation to OFDM technology and equalization algorithm.Then,based on the analysis of the basic principle,a optimized method has been proposed,which combines with matrix decomposition method and matrix block simplification method.Finally,analyse the performance of the equalization algorithm both when it over optimization or not,by the method of system simulation.It's show that the simulation results are in accordance with the results of the theoretical research.On the one hand,the improved equalizationalgorithm can maintain the communication quality of original system.On the other hand,the optimized algorithm can greatly simplify the time complexity of the original algorithm.The communication efficiency would be improved if the optimization equalization algorithm method can be applied to the general underwater acoustic communication system.
