In recent years,China has invested more and more in geospatial research.It has launched resources satellites and the national water and soil census work,and accumulated lots of geographic data with spatio-temporal characteristics.To calculate such kind of geographic data,we need to use some computing equations to evaluate a certain index.Computing equations are needed in evaluation of a certain index in order to calculate such kind of geographic data.And some factors need to be solved to calculate an index.While data of multiple factors are required and many data formats are involved in small range data solution,it is not improper to calculate data one by one by manually transferring them due to small amount of raw data.However,manual transfer of data will cause a lot of problems once a large number of raw data are calculated.Therefore,it is of great significance to establish a computing framework that can manage both large-scale data and automatic calculation according to the calculation process.To solve the above mentioned calculating problems,the paper aims to build a large data processing framework with spatio-temporal characteristics,and elaborate how to implement and apply the framework.The first part of the paper analyzes the characteristics of geo data with temporal and spatial characteristics and the computing characteristics of such large data,and proposes a computing model for computing such data.And a calculation framework is designed and implemented according to the theoretical model.The framework can organize and manage big geo data with spatio-temporal characteristics,as well as realizing automatic calculation according to calculation process.In the third part of the paper,the framework is implemented as a system to prove its feasibility.The experimental results show that the framework can effectively manage a large number of geo data with spatio-temporal characteristics,and quickly calculate the nationwide geo data with spatio-temporal characteristics by formulating computing objectives.Compared with the traditional calculating way,the computation framework greatly accelerates computation in two ways.First,it does not involve manual operation in the computation process;second,it maximize parallel computing after decomposing the tasks.
