Nowadays,Android platform has been used world-widely as the mobile Internet is becoming more prosperous than ever before.It raises huge demands and needs of Android applications to support and provide mobile services.For now,most Android Apps have been very well developed in terms of robustness and usability.At maturity phrase,those Apps are continued to be improved with new features and functions on the premise that ensuring their robustness and usability.That how to efficiently test those Apps has been an important topic.Based on the features and characteristics of those Apps improvement,this research proposed three efficient test methods and an automatic testing frame-work.The main contribution of this paper is as follow:Analysing Android App testing requirement:Android App testing is not only about the App itself,but also concerned about development phrase,scale of the company,skill level of testing engineer,time and cost limits.It is necessary to investigate all the factors to understand the testing requirement.Design and implementation of efficient Android testing methods:This re-search found that most methods and frameworks used today are not efficient ow-ing to the fact that most of them can not find efficient way to put more weights on newly developed part while testing.This paper proposed and implemented three methods to solve this problem for accelerating testing efficiency.Implementation and evaluation of automatic testing framework:This re-search also designed and implemented an automatic testing framework.The framework is evaluated by several indicators.The results shown that our meth-ods and framework are efficient and effective. |
