With the popularity and development of mobile terminal,the Location-based Service has been a new hot spot.The core technology of LBS is positioning,high-precision positioning technology is a vital importance of LBS,high-positioning indoor positioning applications can bring more convenient and reliable service to people's daily lives and has a broad development space.GPS positioning technology provide a high positioning accuracy(1~3m)in an open outdoor,the military used BeiDou system which is developed by our own country can provide an even higher accuracy(3cm).However,when entering into indoor,due to the positioning signal attenuation,interference,block and other reasons,the receiver positioning accuracy will become poor,GPS positioning will become useless.In order to obtain a continuous navigation and positioning results,we must make use of other positioning enhancement technology.Currently there are many popular indoor positioning technologies,but they have their own advantages and disadvantages,how to improve the indoor positioning precision is the focus of current research.The main purpose of this project is take advantage of the embedded sensors in smart mobile terminals for indoor positioning.Inertial navigation method can be used for continuous and seamless positioning,which involves three key elements: the number of steps,stride length and walking orientation.By inertial sensors(accelerometer,orientation sensor)can we get step count and walking orientation,the functional relation between step frequency and step length,we can use the step frequency which has been gotten to calculate the step length.Finally,in order to further improve the accuracy of inertial navigation,we proposed step length self-adaption algorithm based on high accuracy GPS.For more accurate heading,this paper presents a function combine gyroscope and map information to ensure heading.This paper designed and implemented an indoor positioning system based on the embedded sensor,and experimental results showed that the algorithm can obtain a high accuracy positioning results,which can better achieve continuous,seamless and high-precision indoor positioning.
