Research And Achieve Firewall Technology On Windows NT 6.X

In this modern age,more and more people wouldn`t like to live without Internet because of its convenience and effiency.However,people would focus on its security.As the first protection from hackers` attacking,firewall is worthy to research deeply.Some major companies has developed firewalls one after one,dealing with attacking and making users safe are their common desires.But this kinds of firewalls are develop for most customers,the firewalls` functions are not satisfied with specific demands.With the updating of operation system,system interface is making a progress evidently,as WFP takes the place of TDI interface in Windows NT 6.x.Through analysing personal firewalls functions,it proposes to design a firewall system which consists of packet filtering,content filtering,and artificial intelligence defense by using WFP skills in Windows NT 6.X.In packet filtering,the paper will use a new algorithm that will take a little more memory to make an evident progress.In content filtering,there are two parts,one is URL filtering,the other is Web content filtering.Improving WM algorithm will be adopted in URL filtering.Web content filtering will utilize regular expressions to improve the preciseness of filtering.Expert system will be used in intelligence module.It is able to increase security level of personal firewall to net attacking through building knowledge base and designing inference machine.Finally,it proves the effiency of improving packet filtering and improving WM algorithm by experiences.At the same part of the paper,self-learning of attacking has been tested.In summary,the personal firewall in this paper is valuable and innovative.
