The Design And Implementation Of Management Platform For Container Engine Based On PaaS

With the rapid development of Internet and the increasing complexity of business scenarios,iterating quickly,getting online fast and expanding rapidly based on changes in traffic are required for applications.The existing programs have multiple risks because of diverse deployment environment,long process,high communication costs and uncontrollable manual operation,which lead to a slow deployment and low automation degree.The risk of failure in the deployment operation is increased due to the personalization of the deployment environment and high hardware costs is required because of using the virtual machine technology,which hinder the rapid development of business severely.In this thesis,"A Management Platform of Container Engine" is developed based on Docker container and related technologies,dedicating to solving the problem of operation and maintenance automation.It reduces the risks caused by environmental differences and provides a lightweight and easy-to-use operating experience for application deployment.The demand of the system is analyzed according to the business process as the following:(a)construction of the structure of the platform using Docker container technology;(b)design of the database and functional modules;(c)development of all the modules that realize the platform function,including user,code,image,application,service,and monitoring management.Tests of function and performance of the system show that it achieves the level of practical application.The platform has solved the problems that exist in commonly used technical solutions,and minimizes the release process of applications,which leads the online time of applications reduced to seconds.The release process is safe and controllable and the utilization of hardware resources is improved,so that making the management,operation and maintenance more convenient,efficient and safe.In the meantime,it can also save the operating costs of companies and reduce the workload of operation and maintenance personnel.
