CCN(Content-Centric Networking),a typical represent of the next generation of Internet architecture,evolve the host-centric transmission mode of current Internet into content-centric,namely,users in this network can obtain contents by content naming from any one of the nodes caching these contents.The significant feature of this network is that every node in network has the ability to cache contents.Energy consumption of this network can be divided into parts:energy generated by nodes caching contents and contents transmission between nodes.Therefore,this paper studies the energy efficiency of CCN from the two aspects of optimizing the contents placement and transmission between nodes.Now most researches about caching decisions of CCN didn't integrated consider these related elements such as request hot,network energy consumption,content popularity,nodes cooperation and so on.This article proposes an energy-efficient caching strategy based on coordinated caching.This strategy regards the content routers in an autonomous domain as a cooperative cache group,and divide the cache capacity of every node in collaborative cache group into two sections,one for cooperative caching content and the rest for independently caching the local most popular contents,to improve content replicas diversity in cooperative caching group,to reduce duplication of content transmission,enabling to minimize network energy consumption.We establish relevant energy consumption model and use an advanced genetic algorithm(GA)to solve the optimization energy problem in this cooperative cache group.The results test and verify that the proposed strategy to contrast current strategies can effectively reduce the energy consumption of CCN.At present,most of the transmission researches between nodes in CCN deem that transmission service components provide service with peak rate,but nodes in long time high-speed transmission service state will generate more energy.These components can dynamically adjust the transmission service rate according to load on the link,avoiding components are always in peak state,to achieve the optimization of network energy efficiency.According to the transmission characteristics of CCN,this article analyzes the influence of link rate dynamic adaptation strategy on the energy consumption of network transmission.The whole network system transmission energy consumption is obtained by the probability distribution of the working state of transmission service components and the shifting times of different transmission service process state.The simulation results show that the energy efficiency of High-performance is lower than the proposed strategy under the same conditions.
