With the development of the internet,especially mobile internet,while business and individual needs diversify,the amount of data generated by businesses and individuals is growing.In the face of massive data storage needs and complex business,hybrid cloud storage recently has become a hot spot for research.Hybrid cloud storage can manage both public cloud storage and private cloud storage at the same time,integrated the advantages of public cloud storage and private cloud storage providing high-capacity storage resources,to meet the complex needs of enterprises diversified business and individuals.But the capacity of hybrid cloud storage scalability is constrained because of the different public cloud storage technology or private cloud storage technology,at the same time due to the mixed public and private cloud storage,different storage interfaces cause data access and data migration between each other difficult.In terms of data security,public cloud storage and private cloud storage have different levels of security requirements,causing serious risk to data storage for hybrid cloud storage.These are obstacles to the development of hybrid cloud storage.In order to solve the above problems,this paper explores OpenStack opensource cloud computing platform and hybrid cloud storage architecture,proposeda cascading storage architecture based on OpenStack cloud storage technology.The main work of this paper is as follows:The paper firstly studied the basic functions of OpenStack and core services model and how authentication service KeyStone works.Then the paper discusses the overall architecture,working principle,and core data organization of theblock storage service Cinder and the object storage service Swift in depth.Research on hybrid cloud storage architecture,analyzing and studying current cloud storage architecture.The paper analyzes the single cloud storage architecture and hybrid cloud cloud storage architecture,and puts forward our hybrid cloud cascading storage architecture in combination with their advantages.Cascading storage architecture can unify data access interfaces,shield the underlying cloud storage services,integrate different physical storage resources,and provide transparent data storage services.Design and implementation of cascading Storage Architecture based on OpenStack.OpenStack-based authentication services KeyStone protects data security in hybrid cloud storage and provides a secure interface for block storage andobject storage.The cascading storage architecture uses a global service directory to provide a unified storage access interface.For data storage access,accessto all different type of physical storage resources through OpenStack's Block Storage Service Cinder and Object Storage Service Swift exposed APIs.Thanks to Cinder and Swift's performance in load balancing,data backup,and data fault tolerance,cascading storage systems provide users with excellent hybrid cloudstorage services.
