This paper mainly studies the structure design and control program design of the feeder on the automatic production line of LCD industry.At present,LCD industry uses the pallet with the card slot to determine the orientation of LCD screen,so that the mechanical hand can pick up;this requires manual positioning of LCD screen,production efficiency is low.In order to reduce the workload of the operator,improve the production efficiency and the degree of automation of the equipment,the machine vision system is adopted in this paper.Firstly,in this paper,the research status of the key technologies related to this subject is summarized,and the solution is put forward.By comparing the two solutions,the machine vision system is applied to the LCD feeder to optimize the design of equipment,improve the production efficiency and the automation level of the production line.Secondly,according to the requirements of the working performance of the feeder and the result of the field calculation,the different transmission schemes of each part are studied and the selection of the best ones is made.It is found that the movement can be decomposed to simplify the movement of a moving part and improve the production efficiency,the production efficiency is increased by 28.5%;the selection of the key component size is calculated by the value of the measuremen;on the basis of the hardware structure of the feeding machine,the control program of the feeding machine is developed by using the FP-XH C60 T programmable controller of Panasonic;the accurate picking rate of the feeding machine is more than 98%.Then,from the theoretical point of view,this paper studies how to realize the transformation relation between vision system coordinate system and manipulator coordinate system.Through the study of the relationship between each coordinate system,the establishment of the transformation process of vision system coordinate system and manipulator coordinate system is completed,and the transfer process based on the visual studio professional 2017 Coordinates conversion program for.Finally,the paper compares the advantages and disadvantages of each edge extraction operator and analyzes the interference factors in the field work environment,and then the improved Canny operator is used to extract the edge information of the LCD screen and obtain the position information,so as to control the accurate pick-up and angle correction of the target product by the suction manipulator.In this paper,the LCD screen in the tray in the feeding machine can be placed at will,and the LCD screen in the tray can be determined by the machine vision system first,then the manipulator can pick and correct the angle,so that the LCD screen can be placed exactly.
