The electromagnetic wave emitted by radar scatters sea surface to form sea clutter,which affects the detection and tracking performance of radar.The existing clutter suppression techniques do not well solve the impact of sea clutter on radar detection.How to find ways to improve clutter suppression technology so that it can effectively solve the interference of sea clutter to radar is a problem worthy of study.This article around the sea clutter,sea clutter model construction frequency spectrum analysis and the corresponding Doppler frequency correlation detection technology research.The main work summarized as follows:First,the sea clutter statistical model research.Based on the statistical characteristics of sea clutter,the probability distribution of sea clutter is studied.The formation of sea clutter is not only related to the wind speed and direction of the sea surface,but also affected by many factors,such as surge,ocean currents and sea surface temperature.It is also related to the working wavelength,the angle of incidence and the polarization of the electromagnetic wave.Therefore,the establishment of sea clutter statistical model has many ways.In this paper,four common statistical models of sea clutter are introduced,which are Gauss distribution,lognormal distribution,Weibull distribution and K distribution.Second,study on frequency characteristics of sea clutter.Nowadays,radar suppression methods are mostly carried out in frequency domain.By studying the frequency characteristics of sea clutter,the frequency uncertainties such as frequency hopping of sea clutter in frequency are found.The "multi-peak" effect of sea clutter is studied.Explains the internal reasons of MTI and moving target detection methods can't remove the sea clutter,the notch width is wide under the deep notch design of Wiener filter and Calman filter algorithm can not guarantee.If we want to use AMTI,MTD and other methods,it is difficult to redesign the filter algorithm theoretically,and the stability of the new algorithm needs a large amount of data support.Considering the existing algorithms,a clutter detection module is added to improve it.Third,Doppler frequency correlation detection.Through the above research on the frequency components of sea clutter,a method based on Doppler frequency correlation detection is proposed to eliminate the sea clutter component of skip frequency.First,the theory of Doppler frequency correlation detection is explained in theory,and then the process of Doppler frequency correlation detection is introduced.The method is compared with the AMTI methods.The effectiveness of the processing flow is verified by the measured sea clutter data.
