Study on electromagnetic scattering characteristics of stealth targets is a hot research topic,which has important theoretical significance and application prospect in radar target detection and recognition.In this thesis,the research on the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of stealth targets is carried out,and the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of shape stealth and the targets coated with radar absorbing material are analyzed emphatically.The main achievements are listed as follows:Based on the matching features and attenuation characteristics of radar absorbing material,this thesis firstly demonstrates the feasibility of analyzing the change in radar cross section using reflection coefficient.Secondly,the influence of the thickness,the number of layers and the frequencies of incident wave on the absorbing performance of radar absorbing materials are calculated and analyzed.A fast algorithm for calculating the multi-layer coating target is realized by calculating the radar cross section of the large-size coating target under high frequency condition.The algorithm can quickly and accurately calculate the radar cross section of the large size complex coating target.Compared with the traditional methods based on physical optics,this method takes the contribution of edge diffraction field into account and improves the accuracy of the algorithm.The results of this method are compared with the corresponding measured data,and the results are in good agreement with each other.For super electricallylarge targets,this method has a higher computational efficiency and is more suitable for engineering estimation.On the basis of the algorithm,the radar cross section of a destroyer,a frigate and a combat ship coated with radar absorbing material is calculated respectively.Compared with the uncoated radar cross section,a good radar cross section reduction is achieved.The research on radar cross section and stealth optimization design of ship target body structure based on shape stealth technology is carried out.The radar cross section of the ship's superstructure,mast system and naval gun system is calculated by Shooting and Bouncing Ray method.The stealth characteristics and design characteristics of the main components of the ship are analyzed.The ship's mast is selected as an example for stealth performance evaluation and optimization analysis,and a mast design method that can reduce the radar cross section is given.
