Spoof surface plasmons polaritons can be transmitted on metal structured surface in the microwave,millimeter wave,terahertz wave frequency region.Its EM properties is similar to the surface plasmons polaritons,and showing great potential application in functional device miniaturization,high density integrated circuit and other fields.This paper studies the transmission characteristics of the spoof surface plasmons polaritons transmits on structured metal strip.By introducing the circular split ring resonators,we design a variety of band-stop filter structure and tunable filter,the main contents include the following three items:First of all,we introduces the basic physical properties of spoof surface plasmons polaritons from metal comb-shaped structure,and the research status and applications of spoof surface plasmons polaritons.Then,this paper introduces a kind of spoof surface plasmons polaritons transmission structure,and analyze the influence of structure parameters on the dispersion characteristics and structure of the transmission characteristics are analyzed.Finally,by introducing split ring resonators and varactor-loaded split ring resonator,realize spoof SPPs on metal comb-shaped structure band-stop filter effect and electrically control the rejections of spoof SPPs in the microwave frequencies.The study found that by adjusting the size of the cavity size,it's easy to filter out one or more different wavelength of light waves;and the external tuning can help us to dynamically control the structure's filter properties.The band-stop filter and tunable filter that we have designed can be used such as microwave communication,optoelectronic integrated circuits and optical communication,etc.
