In the information age,it is a key problem that how to increase the capacity of communication system because of the more and more demand for communication industry.Smart antennas has become a major research field nowadays because of its good performance in communication system, such as increasing the capacity of system and resisting interferes between the channels. In this thesis,we focus on optimization problems based on well-distributed antennas in order to provide some new ideas for tracking users in the system using smart antennas.Smart antennas can shape the desired directional graph based on some criterions and requirements through adjusting the weight of single antenna, achieving the goals of tracking users in the system or reducing the undesired jam.In this thesis, firstly,we build directional graph patterns of one or more users about well-distributed straight line antennas and plane antennas based on least-mean-square or least-square.As for straight line antennas,we research static problems and dynamic state problem;as for plane antennas,we only research static problems. Then,we solve these models. We use the method which is the same as the method of Tikhonov regularization functional to solve the static problems and recursive least-square method for dynamic state problem. At last,we use numerical simulation based on different method to illustrate the effectiveness of methods based on different parameters. The results of simulation illustrate that the methods in this thesis are all effective, but there are big difference among different results because of the difference among the models and parameters.
