As an important means of covert communication and copyright protection,information hiding has attracted much attention from the academia and industry recent years.With the development of video technology,3D video is widely used in various fileds.Hiding information in 3D video can provide bigger capacity and higher security than in 2D video.Therefore it's important to research the application of 3D coding video in information hiding.This work focused on 3D coding video information hiding technology.Two MV-HEVC based information hiding algorithms have been proposed.The major contributions of this work are summarized as following:1.The advanced residuals prediction technology used in MV-HEVC is studied and based on which,a novel MV-HEVC coding video information hiding algorithm is proposed.The algorithm embeds secret messages in MV-HEVC coding video by modifying non-zero advanced residual prediction weighting factors.In order to reduce the impact on video quality,the algorithm re-calculates the prediction residuals and restrains error diffusion caused by disparity vectors.Experiments show that the algorithm has very little influence on video quality and achieves good real-time performance.2.A MV-HEVC coding video information hiding algorithm based on the quantitative DCT coefficients is proposed.According to the feature of high-frequency quantitative DCT coefficients,an embedding method based on cyclic sequence is designed.The method effectively improves the embedding rate and embedding efficiency of the algorithm.Experiments show that this algorithm can keep good imperceptibility when embedding a large capacity of secret messages.3.Based on the above two algorithms,the MV-HEVC coding video information hiding toolbox is implemented.The toolbox provides functions such as embedding secret message,extracting secret message and decoding videos.
