Research And Application Of Image Similarity Based On Feature Extraction

At present,the development of digital image processing technology is very fast.Various electronic devices spread among the people at a high speed.Those make the image data's growth rate have a great increase.How to find the needed image efficiently and accurately from a large number of images has become a research hotspot in this field.Content-Based Image Retrieval(CBIR)technique is one of the resolution to this problem.Based on the content-based image retrieval technology,this paper describes,improves and extracts the related underlying characteristics of images,then research and apply the features combined with corresponding platforms from the engineering point of view.First of all,this paper introduces the research background and the research status of image retrieval.Secondly,some basic knowledge and correlative underlying features in digital image processing are illuminated in this part,and the advantages of color information in image retrieval is also expounded here.Thirdly,on the basis of this,making a briefly introduction of hash technology in image retrieval,the characters and advantages of bit plane are also introduced and analyzed.The bit plane hash coding of fusion with color feature is proposed.At the same time,the method of measuring similarity and the evaluating indicator of the performance of the algorithm is explained in this part.Then,the HOG(Histograms of Oriented Gradient)operator and POEM(Patterns of Oriented Edge Magnitudes)operator are introduced,and the color information is integrated.In the foundation of this,an improved POEM operator based on color gradient is proposed and the extraction process is introduced in detail.Finally,two kinds of operators are tested,and the experiment process is given in the subsequent.Additionally,the analyzation and evaluations were also given.On the basis of the above research,this paper focuses on engineering,completing the system's requirements analysis,functional analysis and architecture design according to the general software development process.Coding to achieve the whole system in the next stage.Finally,the effect of the operation of the test indicated that the whole system has reached the design requirements,and it has important practical significance and practical value.
