With the growth and popularity of moving location devices, wireless communication and sensor network technology, various kinds of moving objects can be tracked all over the world. This results in generating massive trajectory data accordingly. These data often contain a great deal of knowledge, which need an urgent mining analysis. The main research works are listed as follows.1.By analyzing the presentation of trajectory in GPX,we defined the concept of full-time domain trajectories and implemented the description about past, present and future information of moving objects. We designed a unified storage structure and implemented the effective management of large-scale moving objects trajectory information and metadata information.2.In order to improve the spatio-temporal aggregation query efficiency which is based on several indexes in traditional MODB,we designed and realized two kinds of solutions;one is multi-thread parallel computing based on regional division, the other is the method of combining pre-aggregation and multi-thread parallel computing.By testing and analyzing on the real datasets,we demonstrated the validity of these two methods.3.Visualizing the spatio-temporal aggregation results in client,we implemented movement pattern analysis of moving objects and traffic analysis based on the spatio-temporal statistical diagram. To improve the efficiency of spatio-temporal information visualization in the browser,we designed and realized the urban traffic density dynamic map based on spatio-temporal aggregation tile and data caching mechanism.4.Faced to the traffic application,we designed and implemented a massive moving objects spatio-temporal aggregation analysis prototype system. This system directly presents the information of traffic flow, dynamically changing of traffic congestion and urban hotspots by spatio-temporal aggregation querying over trajectory data and visualization analysis. This system also implemented real-time dynamic monitoring for urban hotspots.
