Quantum information theory is the creature in a new cross-discipline which combine quantum mechanics and traditional information theory,which provides a secure way to exchange private information based on the fundamental laws of quantum mechanics.Quantum Key Distribution(QKD),core of quantum information theory,can achieve private communication securely against an unlimited-power adversary by sharing a secure key between two legitimate parties.Over the past 30 years,the traditional QKD protocols were proposed and demonstrated depending on the monitoring of signal disturbance to set an upper limit to the amount of leaked information.The most effective way is using the bit error rate obtained from the randomly sampling the received signal to estimate the phase error rate.However if high estimation precision of parameters is required,the partial of signal which is sacrificed increases,thus decreasing the efficiency of the protocol.In 2014,Sasaki,Yamamoto and Koashi proposed a Round Robin Differential Phase Shift Quantum Key Distribution(RRDPS QKD)protocol,which can ensure the privacy of the final key without monitoring any statistics of the measurement outcomes.It has a better tolerance of bit error and of finite sized key effects.The practical implementation using a laser pulse train achieves a final key rate comparable to a decoy state QKD protocol,which make it a more practical QKD scheme.Therefore,to enhance the security and practicability of QKD,we study the security analysis,experimental implementation and extensive application of RRDPS QKD protocol.The details are as follow:1.Carry out the security research of RRDPS QKD among the security mechanism(RRDPS mechanism),phase error rate estimation and final key rate.Analysis and verify the security of passive RRDPS scheme.2.Introduce 4 kinds of proof-of-principle QKD experiments based on the RRDPS protocol and 4 kinds of designing schemes of variable delay interferometer.Put forward an extended degree DPS-RRDPS improved experimental implementation based on active variable delay interferometer,from the perspective of experimental feasibility and improving the key generation rate.3.Conduct research on entanglement,single-photon and multiparty QSS protocols,propose a novel Quantum Secret Sharing and Quantum Private Comparison based on RRDPS mechanism.Carry out an analysis on the proposed protocols from the prospective of correctness,external Eve attacks and internal malicious party attacks.
