In this paper,according to the practical application,the three-dimensional mathematical model and motion model to the target distance measure combine with passive ranging.In order to improve the ranging accuracy,this article from the target tracking accuracy and pulse laser ranging device of laser time-of-flight measurement precision two aspects to discuss.First of all,based on the movement characteristics of target,the target motion mathematical model and state space model is established and introduces the principle of Kalman Filter and its improved algorithm Extended Kalman Filter and Unscented Kalman Filter.Using the Extended Kalman Filter algorithm and Extended Kalman Filter algorithm to estimate the location or azimuth angle of the object,verify the error of the actual location with the location which two algorithms predict.Then contrast the Extended Kalman Filter and Unscented Kalman Filter and analysis the advantages and disadvantages and prediction accuracy of each algorithm.Then we makes a deep analysis and research for the pulsed laser range finder,mainly include pulse semiconductor laser technology,light signal receiving and processing technology,time to identify and measurement technology and target 's direction prediction technology.First,on the basis of analysis for the principle of semiconductor laser driving,we designed the large current and narrow pulse semiconductor laser transmission unit circuit.Then,we designed the photoelectric conversion unit circuit and corresponding amplifying shaping circuit on the analyzing the operational principle of the APD photoelectric converter.Then,based on the analysis and comparison of the principle of time identification technology,we designed the constant time discriminator circuit.In order to reduce the measurement error of the time,the complexity and precision of different time interval measurement methods are included to be compared.And lastly we choose a high precision time measurement chip named TDC-GP2,and we designed its peripheral circuits according to the chip data as a timing module,and the accuracy of measurement is up to 50 ps.Finally,we analysis the influence caused by tracking prediction algorithm and time measurement,and summer the more accurate prediction and the higher measuring accuracy of time,the accuracy of the movement of non-cooperative target ranging is also higher.
