The main content of Human-Computer interactive technology is the diversification of information expression and the interaction between variety of I/O equipment and computer.It includes various new interactive technology based on gaze tracking,speech recognition,gesture recognition and so on.Gaze tracking,as an emerging technology on this field,is aroused great interest by domestic and foreign researchers,and becomes publicly attentive front direction on the human-computer interaction.Most of current gaze tracking equipment are based on infrared source or let the observers to wear a special helmet to detect eye movement.Thus,the observer is interrupted.In this paper,around the theme of gaze tracking,we proposed a new way of gaze tracking with no infrared and no interruption.it includes stereo vision measurement,face detecti-on,face feature detection,line of sight compute and other related issues.First,the article briefly discussed the development of human-computer interactive technology and computer vision theory,and then mainly introduced the basic principles and methods of gaze tracking technology,and summed up its research status and progress.At the same time,this article introduced the research background and content.Secondly,the article discussed the binocular CCD stereo vision measurement theory,introduced the mathematical model of camera and the common camera calibration method,and then built the mathematical model of binocular CCD measurement system and analyzed the system error.Based on these discussions,the article proposed a binocular CCD calibration algorithm to get the mathematical model of the measurement system.Thirdly,the face and facial feature detecting technology was discussed.Separated the face from background by the facial color model,searched the connected region,excluded non-face region close to the facial color by the geometric characteristics of face,got the face region,got the rough eye region by geometric relation of the eye and face.extracted the iris using Sobel operator and Hough transform,extracted the inner eye corner and the mouth corners using SUSAN operator.Finally,the article proposed a gaze tracking algorithm.Using the mathematical model,as well as eye binocular CCD Ranging technology,according to two inner eye corners and the two lip corners,establish face plane,and in accordance with historical test data,the coordinate of the center of the eyeball on the face the plane coordinate system was calculated coordinates,then we get the the iris center coordinates of the observer,then eyeball center and the iris center line's direction is the direction of the required attention.The experimental results show that the average deviation angle of vision for the 7.65 °.
