With the continuous exploration of life in the marine,and the wide application of robot technology in many areas of society today,robots can finish the work more easily in complex environments than people and toolsThis paper proposes a new design of bionic robotic dolphins,which based on modern bionics,mechanical design,fluid mechanics and so on.The robotic dolphins is in the manner of Bottle-nosed dolphin Tursiops truncatus(Montagu),which can imitate the real dolphin swimming posture.The design of the robotic dolphins can complete the long cruise in the complicated water area,relying on their own carrying a variety of sensors and cameras can be real-time monitoring of the surrounding environment,but also can issue ultrasonic guided fish migration.A refit robotic dolphins can carry torpedo for military reconnaissance.In this paper,the stability and bionic nature has been take into full consideration..The main contents are as follows:(1)In this paper,the design of the machine the dolphins for bionic nature of bottlenose dolphins.The machine design takes into consideration the dolphin swimming characteristics and take the idea of modular design.The total mechanical structure was divided into head,tail sine propulsion system,center of gravity adjusting mechanism,pectoral fins and tail auxiliary institutions five parts,modular design thought helps the follow-up to optimize the structure of the improvement.(2)Using ADAMAS software to simulation the sine mechanism.After the ansys we can obtained the displacement,velocity and acceleration of the caudal fin swing speed curve similar to the sine curve,confirming the rationality of the sine mechanism.Then optimize the organization,make the sine feed mechanism propulsive efficiency is the largest.(3)The final selection of the dynamic characteristics of the movement of the main components of the crankshaft for the safety characteristics of the main test.The failure of the crankshaft will not only make the system work properly,but also may cause serious accidents.According to statistics,seventy percent of the crankshaft failure is due to bending fatigue caused.In this paper,the maximum shear resistance is calculated according to theworking condition of the dolphin machine.Taking the complex shape and working condition of the crankshaft,the strength of the crankshaft is checked by ANSYS software,and the displacement cloud and stress distribution are obtained.Considering the influence of the rotation of the motor on the crankshaft during the movement,the crankshaft of the important parts of the machine dolphin is analyzed from the perspective of avoiding resonance.The modal analysis is carried out on the basis of the static analysis to obtain the displacement cloud,the stress distribution cloud,the natural frequency and Vibration mode,to determine its susceptible frequency range.
