Sensor is the key technology of the development in the Internet of things,and it plays an important role in information detection.With the development of optical fiber technology,the optical fiber sensor is produced.With the appearance of photonic crystal fiber,it has attracted much attention in the field of index sensor because of its flexible structure and peculiar properties.Many researchers use it to replace the traditional optical fiber sensor.Surface plasmon resonance is widely used in the sensor field because of its sensitivity to the refractive index of the environment.Therefore,surface plasmon resonance and photonic crystal fiber has attracted much attention in the optical refractive index sensing field.The research of this kind of sensor is a great significance in the Internet of things.In this paper,a triangular lattice hexagonal structure platinum film plasma photonic crystal fiber refractive index sensor is presented.The sensor can be directly placed in the liquid and platinum layer is placed outer surface of the photonic crystal fiber,and it can simplify the manufacturing process and the measurement process.The finite element simulation software COMSOL Multiphysics is used for numerical simulation.The simulation results show that the liquid refractive index range is 1.31-1.38 and the maximum sensitivity is 6000nm/RIU.In addition,the measurement range of the refractive index sensor is limited.In order to solve this problem,the surface silver film plasma photonic crystal fiber refractive index sensor is proposed.It is based on the structure of the surface platinum film plasma photonic crystal fiber sensor.It uses silver film instead of platinum film and the liquid refractive index range is 1.39-1.42,the maximum sensitivity is 14000nm/RIU.The proposed sensors have simple structure and high sensitivity.It will amplify the measurement range and has a great potential in concentration measurement,biochemical detection and environmental detection.
