As a new type of wireless communication system,VLC has a lot of advantages,such as high security,no spectrum authentication,no electromagnetic interference and so on.This paper is to study indoor visible light communication technology and indoor visible light positioning.Based on the existing wireless location algorithm,a hybrid localization algorithm for RSSI and AOA was proposed.In addition,a transmission method of visible light signal named OPID was also proposed.At last,a design of the cooperative optical system for positioning and communication was proposed.In this paper,the main research work is as follows:First of all,a hybrid location algorithm based on RSSI and AOA was proposed.The algorithm mainly uses image sensor terminal and magnetic field sensor to obtain the incident angle and elevation of the optical signal.The signal transmission distance could be computed by the receiving optical power.The algorithm can achieve accurate positioning in a single lamp.Secondly,in order to solve the problem of limited channel number and decrease the interference between signals,this paper proposed a transmission method of visible light signal which was named OPID(Optical Identification).After the spread spectrum modulation of the coordinate information of the light source,the data can be transmitted by the way of visible light communication.The data could be recovered by demodulation in the receiving terminal.Finally,basing on OPID,a further design of the cooperative work system for visible light positioning and visible light communication was proposed.Using the existing frame structure of visible light communication,two different schemes were designed by adding the location information field near the communication information field.
