The DOA estimation of signals is widely applied in military and civil fields,Such as mobile communications,radar,electronic warfare and oil exploration.DOA algorithm has been developed for decades,there are a lot of direction finding algorithm with excellent performance,such as MUSIC algorithm and ESPRIT algorithm.These two algorithms belong to super-resolution direction finding algorithm.Compared with the traditional DOA algorithm,the super resolution direction finding algorithm has higher resolution and direction finding accuracy,but its computational complexity is too large to achieve real-time direction finding.Therefore,real-time direction finding is an important direction of the development of super-resolution direction finding algorithm.This paper introduces the MUSIC and ESPRIT algorithm,with expansion of two dimensional spatial spectral estimation under uniform circular array.The MUSIC of two-dimensional direction finding algorithm needs to be carried out,which has a huge amount of computing.Compared with the MUSIC algorithm,the ESPRIT algorithm has a small amount of computation.But the two-dimensional ESPRIT algorithm needs to match the parameters.This paper adopts a method of beam space conversion based on virtual line will be converted into a uniform circular array beam space array,then the eigenvalue decomposition,this method can realize parameter self pairing.The subspace decomposition algorithm needs to perform the eigenvalue decomposition with large computation,which is the main part of the whole direction finding algorithm.In this paper,an improved ESPRIT algorithm based on Multistage Wiener filter is proposed,which avoids the eigenvalue decomposition of the covariance matrix,and is lower than the traditional multistage Wiener filtering algorithm.Finally,the covariance matrix eigenvalue decomposition module is designed with FPGA,which is used bilateral Jacobi algorithm.The module is optimized,and the simulation results of FPGA and MATLAB are compared to verify the feasibility of the design.
