With the development of network,computer,chips,storage,cloud computing,internet of things and big data,video monitor technology is developing rapidly.It is applied widely in frontier defence,security,transportation,finance and other fields.But because of the fog and haze common at present,the video obtained have problems,such as color distortion,blurry,loss of contrast and so on.It has a significant influence on outdoor surveillance in video signal acquisition and video information extraction.Therefore,it is particularly urgent to improve the quality of image in the foggy weather and the defogging performance of the monitoring system.In this paper,first introduce the defogging algorithms based on physical model and nonphysical model,analyze advantages and disadvantages,combine and optimize the algorithms to get one algorithm that can defog effectively.Then set up an embedded hardware platform which based on S3C2440 A and TMS320DM648.S3C2440 A is the main control unit.DM648 is used to run algorithm.At last,optimize the algorithm again based on the embedded platform and migration process.The algorithm is used to penetrate the fog to acquisite clear image and video in foggy weather.The main research content is as follows:1.Study the causes of the decrease of image quality based on the atmospheric scattering theory.Study the dark channel prior algorithm based on the physical model and MSR algorithm based on the nonphysical model.Simulate with matlab,analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each algorithm,put forward the improved algorithm and verify through simulation.2.Considering the research purpose which contains video capturing,processing and output,set up the embedded hardware platform by using S3C2440 A and DM648.Constitute the core hardware development platform with S3C2440 A,DM648 and camera.Together with memory chips,network chips and so on to implement the research purpose.3.Compile the core processing program.The core processing program mainly includes the program of operating system,camera driver,video capturing program and defogging algorithmic program.In view of the hardware platform,optimize the algorithmic program to be real-time.Transplant the program debugged well to the hardware platform to capture clear image in the foggy weather.Through theoretical analysis,repeated practice and simulation of the hardware platform and defogging algorithmic program,it is concluded that the research in this paper can capture and restore image well.The image quality is improved obviously.
