Online Interaction Brings Followers?

Recent years,the development of the Internet has brought great changes to people's social life.Regardless of the technical development,people have an inbred need to interact with other people.With the development of the Internet,people's social network activities have expanded to online social network sites from reality.Social network sites have become the main mode of online interaction.Development of social network sites has enriched the way people interact,and also provides data for social network analysis.Social network sites have developed rapidly with different types.As a typical type of social network sites,content sharing and user interactions are the main features of the community website.Research about the structure of interaction and follow network between community site users can help us to understand the features of community users and structure,find out the reason of following which is important for the community site's operation and management.Based on social network analysis and complex network theory,the research try to find out if interaction can bring followers,to explore the structure of review interaction network and follow network based on community site data analysis.The study captures Douban movie,China's well-known community website,users' review interaction and follow data by web crawlers written in Python program language.Use Gephi,a specialized complex network analysis tool,to get the structure data of review interaction and follow network.And use SPSS to analysis the relationship between follow in-degree and review interaction weighted degree,follow in-degree and the number of followers.The results are:1.Review interaction network and users follow network are both scale-free,small-world network.Networks are relatively sparse with poor network connectivity.2.Newly joining nodes have the characteristic of preferential attachment.3.Users' newly gained followers number in follow network has a positive correlation relationship with the number of fans in Douban website and the weighted degree in review interaction network.The heat of film review has a positive correlation relationship with the fans of reviewers to some extent.4.In conclusion,the number of fans depends on the frequency of interactions,the users' properties and the heat of content released.This article has theoretical and practical meaning.Theoretically,the paper analysis the structure of review interaction network and users follow network,find out the features of networks and use empirical data to indicate the complex network theory.The result shows the factor influencing the number of fans,enriching the related research of relationship.Practically,exploration of the network structure is important for the operation and management of community website,such as how to keep loyal customers and keep the heat of content released.
