The infrared optics plays a very important role in the development of modern optical technology.At the same time,the modern optical technology promotes the infrared optical imaging technology more extensive and universal application in military,the civilian areas,including space surveillance sensors,airborn reconnaissance sensors,UAV electronics,medical infrared lasers,environmental pollution sensors and high resolution imaging sensors used in many various in commercial,medical industrial and military.In this paper,basic knowledge about infrared have been researched and a set of lenses has been designed to monitor the combustion situation in the high-temperaturefurnace.This set of lenses is composed of front-group lens and the relay system.The design requirements are as follows: the angle of field is 60°,the relative aperture is 1/1.2,the imaging observation range is from 4 μm to 6 μm,the MTF>0.5@20lp/mm,the distortion has to be less than 3%,and the length of the whole system has to be more than 700 mm.The front-group lenses should work regularly at 300℃.The whole system has been completed after choosing the initial structure,optimization and the thermal analysis.The MTF of the whole system is more than 0.6 at 20lp/mm.All the design requirements have been achieved.
